Fighting emotional problems of the day

One of the special things we get to experience as human beings are emotions. Emotions are a very strong part that makes us human.  Emotions such as love, joy, pain, anger, etc. are very powerful emotions we experience.But a lot of times it is due to the fact that we can get so emotional that it leads us into trouble.

I would like to talk about two very powerful emotions that in a few situations, require professional attention.  They are anger and depression.Two emotions that seem very different from one another can both start some very major problems.  I have seen it first hand as a family counselor in San Diego.

I say it is a big problem, both of them, because either one can lead to violence.In situations such as anger, it sometimes leads to violence against other people.In situations of depression, the results can be use of violence against themselves.

When you are talking about anger it is a very volatile emotion.As I said earlier, it is an emotion that has to be taken control of.  Because as we well know a lot of people do bad things when they are angry.  It doesn’t have to be physical, it can also be emotional.  If that is the case you need to address it through anger management counseling.

Now in regards to depression, this is a dangerous problem as well.It is very dangerous because a lot of times you might not even be aware of it.In others words you could possibly not even know when someone you love is going through depression.When something like that happens, horrible things can come about that weren’t expected.  Things like suicide.  I have seen it happen to often doing depression counseling.

If you sense you are in a state of depression, treat it immediately.  Because before you know it, it can go too far.  Your loved ones may not even notice.  When that happens it can be too late.So find help quickly.  It can be helped. 

As you can tell, emotions are usually good.But they are known to also cause problems.By learning how to handle issues and problems, emotions can be of benefit.It matters not how you take care of it, either you or somebody else addresses it, but be sure to take care of it.
